opportunity for serious discussion of problems highlighted by the sexual
abuse and betrayal of minors at the hands of trusted clergy.
It is frequently updated with information, commentary and an
invitation to dialogue about human sexuality and the Roman Catholic
Church.
Tom Doyle is recognized internationally as the most
experienced canon lawyer in the area of the sexual
abuse by clergy. Here he makes available some of his
work on behalf of solving the crisis, alleviating
the suffering of victims, and preventing further
abuse.
Trained in theology and canon law, Patrick Wall has
undertaken the work of collecting church documents that are
significant for the understanding of the history of the
Roman Catholic Church’s knowledge of the sexual activity of
clergy. He is currently overseeing the translation of
these documents into English.
